Tanya Nellestein is an award-winning journalist and ARRA-nominated author of gut-churning Viking romance and romantic suspense that always includes good sex and a happily ever after - eventually. Tanya has been recreating the fruits of her overactive imagination on paper since she was a child. She is an avid reader, writer, experience enthusiast, outstanding car vocalist, and Queen of fancy dress.
Tanya was shortlisted in the 2020 Australian Romance Readers Awards for Favourite Debut Author and Favourite Holiday/Christmas Story. She is once again shortlisted in the 2021 Australian Romance Readers Awards for Favourite Historical Romance for The Valkyrie's Viking and The Valkyrie's Rule, and Favourite Continuing Romance Series for The Valkyrie of Birca. Tanya has also been shortlisted for the 2022 RWAus Sapphire Award for an unpublished manuscript by a published author.

Tanya has worked for over 25 years in the social welfare industry, most recently working with and supporting people impacted by natural disasters.
Tanya is a proud member of the Romance Writers of Australia, Australian Romance Readers Association and Romance Writers of New Zealand, and is the Deputy Editor of the RWAus members monthly journal Hearts Talk.
